FAQ
Can I buy train or flight tickets with my foreign bank card?
Sometimes, but many Russian booking platforms currently cannot process foreign-issued cards. We can purchase tickets on your behalf.
Should I choose a train or a domestic flight?
For journeys up to 500-600 km, high-speed trains are often the most convenient option. For longer distances, flying is usually much faster.
Are trains in Russia comfortable?
Yes. High-speed trains offer modern seating and onboard services, while overnight trains provide different cabin classes, making long-distance travel both comfortable and practical.
Should I book transportation in advance?
Usually yes. High-speed trains, domestic flights, and popular summer routes can sell out well in advance, especially during holidays.
A marshrutka is a shared minibus operating on fixed routes. It is inexpensive and popular with locals but may be less comfortable and more difficult to use for visitors unfamiliar with the language.
Can you help plan transportation for my entire trip?
Yes. We can recommend the best combination of flights, trains, buses, and transfers based on your itinerary and arrange ticket purchases where needed.
